Jabari Canada

Jabari Canada is a Master of Architecture candidate at MIT whose work bridges design, media, and public space. Canada’s research explores sustainable material systems and decentralized wood manufacturing, with a focus on how regional makers and manufacturers can advance resilient, sustainable timber construction to address housing needs.

Before MIT, Canada worked as a cinematographer in New York City and as a video producer for Senator Elizabeth Warren’s presidential campaign. Across his design and media practices, Canada explores how storytelling, materials, and the built environment can foster more connected and sustainable communities.
