Rania Ghosn

Rania Ghosn is Associate Professor of Architecture and Urbanism at MIT (opens in new tab), Director of the SMArchS Urbanism program, and founding principal of DESIGN EARTH. (opens in new tab) Her work examines how technological systems have transformed the planet and uses architecture and storytelling to imagine ways of living with the legacies of climate change.

Ghosn’s work is in MoMA’s permanent collection and has been exhibited internationally, including at the Venice Biennale, V&A Museum, SFMOMA, and Bauhaus Museum Dessau. She is co-author of Geostories: Another Architecture for the Environment, Climate Inheritance, and The Planet After Geoengineering, and a recipient of the United States Artists Fellowship and Architectural League Prize for Young Architects + Designers.
