Roi Salgueiro Barrio

Roi Salgueiro Barrio is an architect and urbanist whose work examines the relationships between architecture, territorial systems, and globalization. He is founder of the design practice RSAU, a lecturer in the MIT Department of Architecture, and curator-director of the MIT Morningside Academy for Design. Salgueiro Barrio is co-author of The World as an Architectural Project (2020), with Hashim Sarkis and Gabriel Kozlowski.

Salgueiro Barrio served as principal assistant curator of the 17th Venice Architecture Biennale, and his work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Lisbon Architecture Triennale, Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture, ETH Zurich, and Yale School of Architecture. He holds degrees from the University of Navarra, Harvard University, and the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
