Agnes Parker

Agnes Parker is a designer and researcher working across architecture, materials, and textiles. A graduate of the Bartlett School of Architecture with first-class honors, Parker is currently a research assistant at MIT’s Self-Assembly Lab, where her work explores computational knitting and textile innovation, with a focus on new manufacturing techniques, biomaterials, and the circular economy.

Parker’s honors include the British Council Venice Fellowship, SOS Design Residency, KPF Travel Fellowship, and TextielLab | TextielMuseum Graduation Project Award. In 2025, she was one of eight emerging designers selected globally for the Venice Biennale College Architettura, where she developed work exploring how biomaterials and textiles can create resilient architectures for cooling and shade.
