Nof Nathansohn

Nof Nathansohn is an architect, researcher, and designer completing a PhD in Design and Computation at MIT. Nathansohn’s work explores material ecology, computational design, and regenerative fabrication, developing bio-integrated building materials and processes that enable architecture to function as a living, evolving system. Her research includes soil-and-seed 3D printing, which uses robotic fabrication and locally sourced earth to create structures embedded with plant life.

Nathansohn’s work combines robotics, material experimentation, and ecological design to imagine architecture that participates in natural cycles rather than extracts from them. Her projects have been exhibited internationally and featured in publications including Fast Company and ArchDaily.
